We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Manager to oversee and enhance the safety and security protocols within our organization. Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance systems, including CCTV, ensuring all equipment is functional and monitored.
- Train and supervise security personnel, providing guidance on best practices in loss prevention and emergency response.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement as necessary.
- Manage conflict situations effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when required.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and prepare reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to security operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in a security management role or related field.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV technology.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred; additional training in loss prevention is a plus.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
