Inventory Control – Inventory Coordinator
Our client as Warehousing and Distribution is a 3PL company that specializes in warehousing and transporting to retailers located in the New Jersey and New York metro areas. The warehouse operates in over 400,000 square feet of warehouse space offering ambient, temperature control, high value and bonded storage. Within the warehouse there are various departments hard to work to support our customers including: Receiving, Inventory, Quality Control, Shipping, Customer Service, IT, Accounting and Dispatch.
The Inventory Control Department is responsible for the overall integrity of the inventory. Integrity is maintained through the WMS system and physical stock. Inventory Control oversees organizing and maintaining accurate physical stock of goods in the warehouse through cycle counts.
Inventory Coordinator Duties
The Inventory Coordinator works closely with the Inventory Control team to support and maintain accurate inventory processes. This role requires a balance of individual accountability and teamwork. The Inventory Coordinator actively participates in reviewing and researching cycle count discrepancies. The Inventory Coordinator has direct communication with customers and must have a sense of urgency in handling and answering email correspondence.
Inventory Coordinator Position Requirements:
• Intermediate computer skills and Outlook
• Communicate fluently in English (verbal and written)
• Spanish is a plus
• Must have strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Ability to perform mathematical functions
• 8 Hour sedentary work shift
