Duties and Responsibilities<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

  • Machine Operation:<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> Run single-needle, double-needle, serger, or flat-bed felling industrial sewing machines to assemble garments, leather goods, or other materials.<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> 

  • Setup and Calibration:<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> Draw thread through guides, adjust tensions, select appropriate needles, and configure stitch width/length based on the fabric type

  • Material Preparation:<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> Read daily production schedules, work orders, or blueprints to determine patterns, dimensions, and thread color matches.

  • Assembly and Attachment:<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> Guide pre-cut fabric pieces under the needle, maintaining standard seam allowances. Attach components like zippers, buttons, hooks, velcro, and fasteners.
